March 2013 PTO Minutes

PresidentKristy Lynch called meeting to order at 6:30

Treasure Report

Kim Mitchellreported that as of 2-28-2013 the balance for Henry was 20,657.18 and thebalance for CIS was 16,823.49.

Committee Reports

Book Fair (Valerie Dehn and TanyaElliot, Chairperson)

Valeriereported that Henry earned a profit of $2,837.12 which will be in ScholasticDollars.  The book fair at CIS was stillrunning at meeting time, so information was not available.

Other Business

Cindy Catesgave a presentation about the Clinton School Bond Initiative.  If the bond passes it will provide a newmedia center/library and additional classroom space for middle school,eliminating the need for students to transfer between buildings.  It would also update the stadium complex.  This presentation is on Facebook and theschool website.

CoachJohansen sent PTO a thank you card for the additional archery equipment.

Mrs. Dameronsent PTO a thank you card for the purchase of the One School One Read book-Stuart Little.

In an effortto get attendance up at PTO meetings there was a drawing for a McDonald’s giftcertificate, the gift card went to Amanda Johnson.

There willnot be a PTO meeting in April.  Officersand committee chairs will meet to discuss the 2013-2014 school year.
