Welcome to the 2012-13 school year at Clinton Intermediate School. I hope you had a wonderful summer break, filled with opportunities to learn and grow. I look forward to working with staff and students to ensure we are providing each child with a positive experience and an excellent education.
We as a school look forward to continuing work on the priorities it takes to become a world class school district; using assessment to guide and plan instruction, and providing all CIS students with challenging and rigorous curriculum. We are also launching our new parent communication tool, SchoolReach, which will allows us to communicate important dates, events and news through email, text or voice messages.
Parents--we encourage you to interact with your child's education every chance you get! Teachers plan activities during the school year for parent participation. These activities enhance the educational process for students. And of course, don't forget to visit with your child about the events of each school day, review papers and most importantly, read with your child!
